Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights Inc. received hundreds of letters of support following the announcement of this project in 2003. Additionally, to date, 51 cultural, ethnic and human rights groups representing thousands of Canadians have pledged their enthusiastic support for this Museum and helped build the momentum that was needed to get the project off the ground.
