Volunteers are crucial to the success of any large fund raising initiative. Indeed, the Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights cannot succeed without the efforts of the volunteers. Asking for financial support can be a challenging endeavor, yet Friends knows from experience that people give to people.
Without the dedication and support of volunteers, Friends could not reach out to all of the prospective donors to secure the gifts it needs to accomplish the Museum's vision of advancing understanding and support for human rights in Canada and throughout the world. There are over 350 volunteer canvasser/solicitors across Canada.
